Our Accomplishments

1.   Provide financial support for 125 local secondary school students and 53 secondary boarding school students

2.   Drill a well to provide free clean drinking water to Tloma Primary School and the dispensary

3.   Establish a sister Tanzania non-profit and fund its purchase of the well property

4.   Establish a school library

5.   Provide annual financial support for lunches for Tloma Primary School students

6.   Install water catchment systems on unequipped school buildings to capture and store rainwater

7.   Add water tanks and a small pump to collect rainwater from the dining hall roof to supply water to the dining hall and toilets

8.   Build an interim wood-fired kitchen for the new dining hall until a permanent clean fuel solution can be developed

9.   Establish an original school garden and provide a drip irrigation system for a larger school garden

10. Provide annual support for purchase of student school uniforms

11. Purchase textbooks for students

12. Paint and renovate school buildings in need of repair

13. Repair student desks and purchase new ones

14. Repair broken hinges on all school windows

15. Purchase gravel to mitigate muddy areas of school grounds

16. Install handwashing stations

17. Repair toilet buildings

18. Build new toilets at Tloma Primary School’s sister primary school (The new primary school was established when the population at Tloma Primary School exceeded capacity)

19. Provide health care advice and washable feminine products to female students
